I am thinking that purple and green might make a good color combination.
These are the colors of my beloved friend Becky’s Renaissance Faire Garb – and she sent me a picture of her in it. Flaming red hair with purple and green brocade.Â
Then I always thought the that true colors of the cosmos were Green and Pink (don’t ask why – it stays hidden with the other secrets of my hippie youth).
My Prudence vest is being knit in the darker hue of Burgundy. This is my watching TV and need to accomplish something mindless project – straight stockinette stitch for 17 inches.
Green and White is a big favorite color combination for Chip and Vash – the colors of the New York Jets football team.
Hence Vash’s next scarf – the green and white robot illusion scarf (because lets be real – Vash likes robots a WHOLE lot more than he likes football). This is the first of five blocks for the scarf. Shhhhhhh. Don’t tell Vash. He thinks it is just a green and white striped scarf for Uncle Chip.
Orange and Green – Vash’s school color and favorite color.
And the colors of his current hat and scarf I made last year – though in more muted tones.
Though I am liking the Blue behind the Orange too.  I just like Blue. Here is the first of the Bunny Fur Fingerless Mitts done in the Cafe Au Lait pattern. More on that after I finish the second one.
Though in our house, Green just screams out spring.
Hence, why I am again working on Chip’s sweater.
And just to make you smile – Vash with the Turtle he made in school yesterday that he wanted to show you all. Green.Â
Here’s looking at you, Spring.
I want some of those Lilly of the Valleys!!!
And Vash is going to FREAK when he figures out that robot scarf…so cool!!
too bad that the beautiful purple and green fan (that you and Chip gave me) was backwards. ahh… my colors :).
It just goes to show what a wonderful eye for color you have. I would have never thought of putting green and purple together but, as the garden and you show, it is a phenomenal color combination.
Shelly, the flowers are beautiful, I guess Spring has sprung! You’re so clever matching up your writing with your pictures…..Good job
And my little Vashua,I love the green turtle you made!!!! How do you ever think up things like that , I guess it just takes a mind of a very smart little boy….and that’s YOU!
I love you honey, hugs and Grandma kisses xoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
