Our littlest boy turned 7 – that is BIG turn of the wheel. He has completed that entire first 7 year baby/child phase of life and is now moving onto that next 7 year stage of intensive learning and growth – the Kid Stage. Wow.
He picked his birthday dinner. Macaroni and cheese, hamburgers and carrots (Chip forgot the carrots but made a big salad to make up for it.)
Of course he wore the birthday hat.
He is now big enough to blow out his candles all by himself with no help from brothers.
He liked his cake.
He had wanted strawberry whipped cream cake but we ended up getting a strawberry shortcake cake. He felt a cake a strawberries would be healthier than a normal birthday cake.
He likes being 7
For his birthday, along with Legos and Sidewalk Chalk, we broke down and bought a Wii video game system which came with a Mario Bros. car racing program (which they loved and laughed over). Chris gave Vash the Super Mario Bros. Galaxy II game and we got him the Wall-E game. Needless to say, Wall-E was the first game he played.
Happy Birthday to my Baby Boy.
