Hawk Studio – Knife Case

One of the things Chip makes, as we have seen, are knife cases which can be worn on a belt.  (see my Hawk Studio post of September 8th).  The knife case shown on that post was attached to the belt by tying it into a knife frog.

The frog then slips onto the belt.

Today he constructed a knife case which slips directly onto the belt.

The method of construction allows for a space through the case, which is between the stitching behind the hilt of the knife, where a belt is threaded through.  The hilt is then supported against the body by tying the braided ties around it.

This particular case is already sold, but a similar one of similar size would retail at $50.00

Oh! – I almost forgot to tell you – Now you can find some of Chip’s work on Etsy.  To find Chip on Etsy, go to  http://www.etsy.com/shop/HawkStudio?ref=ss_profile  We still have some work to do on the page – the banner is not coming out right – but it is a start and we will see how it goes.  Its our first foray into the internet shopping world so we are still figuring some things out.  Wish us luck.

About Shelly R.

I am a Mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, an attorney, a crafter and the granddaughter of an amazing woman - my Polish Grandmother. My Grandmother gave me so much, through her love and her patience, her sayings and her time teaching me how to craft and to give to others, that it seemed fitting to share some of that wisdom, to tell some of her story, and to chat about life and crafts in a way that would be a testament to what she gave me.

Yup – he has it – he is working on a number of knife cases now and this is the first one completed. I think he wants to talk to you about exactly how you want to wear it. Expect a message on Facebook from him about it. You know me – I like to keep him working 🙂
