Gandalf

Okay, this was just too cute not to tell you all about.

At bedtime, Gandalf is my most adoring puppy.  It is like he has waited all day just to spend some time with me (though I know it is just his way of trying to get Chip to fight for his attention) and he sits besides me, puts his head on my lap, with his oversized tongue hanging out, and looks at me as if to say “I love you mom”.  I adore him.

So this is usually just before we are going to bed, so I will get up and walk with him to the bedroom (his crate is in our room too).  Most of the time he will go into his crate – but if he thinks I am running a little more behind him then usually he will jump up onto the bed and lay down on Chip’s side of the bed to wait for me to come in and snuggle with him.

Too cute – right?

So Chip came in after me and looked at him and said “Gandalf” in that tone that says “Aww come on – you are getting dog fur all over my side of the bed”.  And Gandalf reacted immediately to his tone of voice.

He’s just the worlds funniest cutest dog.  I just climbed into the bed and snuggled with him.  Who could resist him?  Not I.

Tomorrow is the project report.  Lots of pictures for that one.  Have a great night.

About Shelly R.

I am a Mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, an attorney, a crafter and the granddaughter of an amazing woman - my Polish Grandmother. My Grandmother gave me so much, through her love and her patience, her sayings and her time teaching me how to craft and to give to others, that it seemed fitting to share some of that wisdom, to tell some of her story, and to chat about life and crafts in a way that would be a testament to what she gave me.

He is funny…but I could resist. I am sooooo done with animal hair in my bed. I miss Izzy but not her hair all over my house and in my food and up my nose.

Awww – he’s not that bad. And he is such a cute snuggler it is hard not to just laugh and wrap your arms around him. He’s just a love.

What a great dog he is!! I think I would die though, if he sat on my tulip quilt….
